Hamilton, Canada is located within the confines of Ontario. It’s primary income relies on industrialism and health care. The city is named after George Hamilton.

 

The original inhabitants of Hamilton were the Neutral and Iroquois Indians. Etienne Brule came to the area sometime during 1616. Plus, Lasalle toured the region.

 

The Battle of Stoney Creek happened on the soil of Hamilton. Colonel Sam Hughes assisted in World War I. The Royal Hamilton Light Infantry fought in World War II.

 

Sheila Copps is associated with Hamilton, Canada. Other famous people of the area are Thomas Bain, Robert Beatty, Ken Dryden, Florence Lawrence, Marty McSorley, Steve Pikin and Martin Short.
