Hamilton Ohio Jobs
A proposal to open a 682-job call center here poses a triple threat to the city's economic recovery, according to officials with the Hamilton County Economic Development Authority. The plan to open the call center was announced Tuesday, just days after the project was approved for state tax credits. These credits are estimated at about $1.3 million when the jobs pledged are added, and they were approved on the basis that they can be claimed as newly created jobs, not as part of a tax credit.
The call center would not only create hundreds of new jobs, but also fill empty space and help boost efforts to revitalize downtown, officials said.
